Electronic data capture in the field with Workabout Proฎ Data Collection Package

 

 

 

The Psion Workabout Pro Data Collection Package is the optimal addition to your ARM software for electronic data capture in the field: This package replaces the forgoing DatCol on Psion Workabout MX. A detailled description with the newest features, which are available for ARM7 and ARM8, can be found here:

 

Important tasks that can be handled with this product:

 

-          The randomisation of the trial and the data headers of the ARM trials (DAT file) are transferred to the hand-held

-          The entry fields for your assessment data appear in the order you have chosen on the PC display

-          The assessments are entered direct into the handheld computer in the field

-          It is possible to check the entered data for outliers directly in the field and potentially correct

-          New: all site description and application data can be stored on the handheld computer in the field

-          Data input may be controlled directly in the field via displaying the individual plot data as well as the averages calculated by treatment.

 

The data will be transferred without re-entry direct into the relevant ARM plot data sections: When you come back from the field, just connect the hand-held to the PC, transmit the data and your trial is “up to date”. Without any problem you can create up-to-date printouts of intermediate reports including all statistics at any time with a very few mouse clicks.
